WEEK 4 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Info for Week 4 is listed below. We had a great week of racing! The Girls (4th) tied their best finish and the Boys (5th) had their best finish ever at the Lake County Invite on Wednesday. As a group, many of the team improved significantly from 2016 and/ or from the previous week. We followed that up Saturday with many outstanding races on a very difficult course at Veteran Acres Park. Eight athletes took home hardware including Brooke Stromsland who was the F/S Girls winner!

This week we begin our NLCC dual meets. All dual meets begin at 4:45 with the girls followed by the boys at 5:15. Our annual Peoria trip is on Saturday and is always a season highlight. Lastly, we are hosting our team fundraiser on Wednesday. We need all athletes to help us put on the best meet possible.

Saturday Medal Winners: Boys F/S - Tim Smith(31); Girls Var - Morgan Gillespie (36), Hannah Grant (41); Girls F/S - Brooke Stromsland (1), Alex Bryant (14), Ashley Whitis(43), Tegan Baker (55), & Danika Dortch (70).

GEAR (for both boys and girls teams:

*To keep our uniforms in excellent condition, please wash them in cold water and hang dry.

* Dick Pond Athletic orders should be shipping soon. They will be shipped to Lakes and distributed by Coaches.

Events:

Friday the pasta party is at the Pipia/Erwin Residence (2865 Trail Crest Lane, Lindenhurst).

* Please leave by 8:01 p.m. Please be sleeping by 9 p.m.

*We are leaving at 5 a.m. sharp Saturday morning.

In the past we have had to leave athletes behind at the school because they were not on time.

* Please consider bringing items to our pasta party. There is a link to sign up in the team documents section. 

- Middle School Meet fundraiser. Mandatory attendance. Dismissal by 6:45 at the latest.

Race 1 is at 5pm and Race 2 is at 5:40pm
