64th Annual PEORIA INVITATIONAL

TIME AND PLACE: The meet will be held at Detweiller Park, which is located about five miles north of Peoria on
Route #29.

A and AA GIRLS – 9:00 A.M.

A and AA BOYS – 9:45 A.M.
AAA GIRLS -10:30 A.M. AAA BOYS—11:15 A.M.

COURSE: The course is a sod covered area basically flat in terrain. This is the course that the IHSA State Cross
Country Championships will be run on in November. Either spikes or flats may be worn.
GIRLS – 3.0 miles BOYS - 3.0 miles

ENTRIES: Each school may enter ten boys for the boys’ race and ten girls for the girls’ race. Seven will be
permitted to run and the scores of the first five finishers from each school will be counted in determining the
team score.

SCRATCHES: Your team of participating runners may only come from those listed on your entry. You may run up to seven of your ten maximum entries. No substitutes are permitted.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS:
BOYS – Medals awarded to the first 30 runners to finish each race.
GIRLS – Medals awarded to the first 30 runners to finish each race.
NOTE: A TEAM MUST HAVE FIVE FINISHERS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE AN INDIVIDUAL AWARD
TEAM AWARDS:
Trophies for the first three teams 
Team medals for first place team
